Mediterranean Diet is a nutritional model that makes reference to the models adopted by the Greek and Italian populations in particular.  

The foods that make up this famous  Mediterranean diet  are first of all the products of the land; so anything that grows naturally out of the ground and then, like fruits and vegetables, rice, cereals and bread, are key parts of the diet.

Wheat is everywhere in the Mediterranean diet, as well as the grain is important in any healthy diet. As already mentioned, in this model nutritional, red wine and olive oil are also essential points.

The many Fish Diversity of our Mediterranean sea has meant that people who live around it abbiano cholesterol levels lower than in the ‘continental Europe.
